Your public IPv4 and IPv6 address

Shows the public IP address your device is currently using to reach the internet: IPv4, and IPv6 if your connection supports it, along with an approximate location and internet provider.

Unlike most tools on this site, this one can’t work entirely offline: your IP address is only visible to the outside world in the first place, so showing it back to you means asking an outside service what it sees. Your address comes from ipify.org, and the location and provider details come from ipwho.is. Both lookups run directly between your browser and those services; nothing is logged or stored by us.

How to use

  1. Open the page

Your IP address and network details load automatically. There's nothing to click to start.

  2. Read the details

Your IPv4 and IPv6 address appear side by side, with location and provider below if the lookup succeeds.

  3. Copy what you need

Click the IPv4 or IPv6 box to copy that address to your clipboard.

Frequently asked questions

Is this my real IP address?

It's the public IP address your device is currently using to reach the internet, as seen by ipify.org. If you're on a VPN, proxy, or shared connection like office Wi-Fi or mobile data, this is the address that connection exposes, not necessarily one tied only to you.

Why isn't an IPv6 address showing?

Not every network or device has IPv6 connectivity yet. If your connection is IPv4-only, that lookup won't resolve, and this tool shows that plainly instead of an error.

Where does this data come from, and is any of it stored?

Your IP address comes from ipify.org, and the location and ISP details come from ipwho.is. Both are independent, free, no-account services. The request goes straight from your browser to theirs; we never see or store the result ourselves.
