Key features

Split by custom ranges or every N pages
Multiple outputs bundle into one zip
Preview or download once it’s ready
Files never leave your device

Split a PDF into multiple files: by custom page ranges (each group becomes its own file) or automatically every N pages. If the split produces more than one file, they’re bundled into a single .zip so you only download once. Everything happens entirely in your browser.

How to use

  1. Choose a PDF

Click to browse, or drag and drop a PDF onto the box.

  2. Choose how to split it

Type custom ranges like "1-3, 4-6, 7-10" (each becomes its own file), or split automatically every N pages.

  3. Split, then decide

Click "Split PDF" and review the result: one file downloads directly, more than one downloads as a single zip.

Frequently asked questions

Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?

No. The file is read and split entirely in your browser using an open-source PDF library. Nothing is sent to a server.

How do custom ranges work?

Each comma-separated group becomes its own file: "1-3, 4-6, 7-10" produces three separate PDFs. A single page number like "8" on its own produces a one-page file.

Why did I get a zip file instead of a PDF?

Whenever splitting produces more than one file, they're bundled into a single .zip so you only need one download instead of several. If your split only produces one file, it downloads directly as a PDF.

Can I use this on a password-protected PDF?

No. Encrypted or password-protected PDFs can't be read by the library this tool uses. Remove the password first, then try again.
