Click to browse, or drag and drop a PDF onto the box.

  2. Set up the watermark

Type the text and adjust opacity, rotation, size, color, and layout.

Click "Add Watermark" and review the result: preview it, download it, or start over if it's not right.

Frequently asked questions

Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?

No. The file is read and rewritten entirely in your browser using an open-source PDF library. Nothing is sent to a server.

What's the difference between centered and tiled?

Centered places one instance of the watermark in the middle of each page. Tiled repeats it in a grid across the whole page, making it harder to crop out, which is why many "CONFIDENTIAL" or "DRAFT" stamps use it.

Can I use this on a password-protected PDF?

No. Encrypted or password-protected PDFs can't be read by the library this tool uses. Remove the password first, then try again.
