Frequently asked questions

Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?

No. The file is read and rewritten entirely in your browser using an open-source PDF library. Nothing is sent to a server.

How do I write a page range?

Separate individual pages or ranges with commas, like "1-3, 5, 8": that means pages 1 through 3, plus pages 5 and 8. Page numbers start at 1.

Can I use this on a password-protected PDF?

No. Encrypted or password-protected PDFs can't be read by the library this tool uses. Remove the password first, then try again.
