Frequently asked questions

Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?

No. The file is read and rewritten entirely in your browser using an open-source PDF library, and nothing is sent to a server.

Can I start counting from a number other than 1?

Yes, set a different starting number if this PDF continues from another document, like a chapter that should start at page 45 instead of 1.

Can I use this on a password-protected PDF?

No. Encrypted or password-protected PDFs can't be read by the library this tool uses. Remove the password first, then try again.
