Key features

Cryptographically secure randomness
Regenerates instantly as you adjust options
Built-in strength meter
One-click copy to clipboard

Choose a length and which character sets to include, and a new random password appears instantly — adjust any option and it regenerates automatically. Use the strength meter as a rough guide, and copy the result straight to your clipboard.

Every password is generated locally using your browser’s cryptographically secure random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues). Nothing you generate is ever sent anywhere or stored.

How to use

  1. Pick a length and character sets

Drag the length slider and toggle uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols on or off.

  2. Generate as many as you like

A new password appears the moment you change any option — press the refresh button for another one with the same settings.

  3. Copy and use it

Click "Copy" to grab the password, then paste it straight into your password manager or the site you're signing up for.

Frequently asked questions

Is this password actually random?

Yes — it's generated with the Web Crypto API's crypto.getRandomValues(), the same cryptographically secure source of randomness browsers use for things like encryption keys, not Math.random().

Is my password sent anywhere or saved?

No. Everything happens locally in your browser. Nothing is transmitted to a server, logged, or stored once you leave the page.

How long should my password be?

Most guidance today recommends at least 12–16 characters with a mix of character types. Longer is generally better — the strength meter gives you a rough sense of how your current settings hold up.
